My apologies for this mistake. I've corrected it. It should be four times the amount by volume. I enjoy making skirlie and will be including a recipe for it in my book about oats but I haven't got round to writing it up on here yet.

Do yoe mean "four times the amount by volume" or "four times the amount by weight".
Also I was supprised that your search system produced no results for skirlie, scottish fried oats.
